Hi there, I go by Ash or Ashley.
I strive to create a safe, supportive environment for my clients to work towards achieving their goals. It is my mission to foster a space where you can feel welcomed, without judgement, to explore your life’s journey. I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to therapy that integrates evidenced-based practices, with an understanding of each client’s unique life story. My therapeutic style is grounded in empathy, active listening, collaboration, and a touch of humor, to help clients in cultivating resilience and to achieve their personal goals.
I am a dedicated mental health therapist with experience in providing compassionate care to individuals facing emotional, psychological, and relational challenges. With a Master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, from Residential facilities to community care. I believe my experience provides me with an unique ability to understand a variety of life’s challenges, and to provide a space of healing for my clients.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and working with individuals from the LGBTQ+ community. I utilize an affirmative, inclusive, and culturally competent approach to therapy, incorporating practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy and mindfulness techniques.
I look forward to beginning your mental health journey together, to work towards fostering a space of healing and growth.
