My name is Agnes. I received my MA from Argosy University in Chicago. My ideal in therapy is to be able to set a comfortable environment in which growth can be achieved. I truly believe that a person can overcome and achieve anything that they set their mind to. I like to set an environment in which working together with the client goals can be turned into reality. I do not believe that there is a problem that is too big or small that cannot be tackled with the help of a supportive and motivating environment.

Originally I am from Lithuanian that leads me to having a special interest in immigration/assimilation concerns. Being an immigrant myself, I feel like I have a personal connection with the struggles that come with moving to a new country for both children and adult. I have first hand understanding in feeling stuck between two worlds.

I have experience working with children, adolescence, and adults. I have a special interest in working with couples and sexuality. In session I like to use CBT, Solution-Focused, and Motivational Theory. I also believe in a holistic approach and believe that there can be improvements made in all areas of life. I also believe in not forgetting about the lightness and humor that can at times be overlooked and forgotten and incorporate this into sessions. I believe that there is no fit all approach and really like to tailor the growth based on what the situation calls for. I look for providing the environment that will be most beneficial.
