Therapy can often feel intimidating, and taking the first step to growth takes a lot of strength. My goal is to guide you through the process of therapy with support, empathy, and the occasional cheesy joke. I create treatment plans that are flexible and individualized and allow for us to collaborate as a team to meet all of your therapeutic needs.

I hope to develop a therapeutic relationship that allows you to feel comfortable delving into difficult topics while also allowing you the time and space to talk about the nuances of your day. We never know what others are going through on a personal level, and I strive to help you develop the tools to combat those personal struggles and advocate for what you deserve in life.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I spent several years working as an inpatient therapist in a behavioral health hospital and have also worked in correctional settings and with juvenile offenders.

I specialize in working with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, and suicidality and guide all of my treatment through a trauma-informed care model. My passions also include working with those involved in the criminal justice system and those with sexual issues. I utilize CBT and DBT interventions most frequently in my treatment plans and love to integrate new techniques into care whenever I can. I also love to provide psychoeducation and answer questions about psychology.

Although being a therapist is a huge part of my identity, I also like to make time for my personal passions, including cooking, going to hockey games, watching scary movies, reading, and playing with my dogs.

I cannot wait to work with you and be a part of this new adventure in therapy.
